Dr. Peter Nguyen, DDS

For Dr. Peter Nguyen, dentistry has always been about people. His goal is simple: treat every patient the way he would want a friend or family member to be treated. He believes that great dental care starts with listening, taking the time to explain options clearly, and helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their decisions.

Dr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the USC School of Dentistry in 2000. Before pursuing dentistry, he worked in the technology field after earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Economics from California State University, Los Angeles. Ultimately, he chose dentistry because it combined his love of problem-solving with his desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Nguyen regularly pursues advanced education in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, occlusion, and esthetics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.

Outside the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and their three sons. As a family, they love traveling together, exploring different cultures, and creating lasting memories through shared experiences. He is also active in serving his church and local community.

Dr. Dominique Winfield, DDS

Dr. Dominique Winfield is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate, personalized dental care. She believes in taking the time to listen, educate, and help patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.

A San Diego native, Dr. Winfield earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacological Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Society.

Dr. Winfield is passionate about serving others and has participated in volunteer dental outreach programs both locally and internationally. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to care for a diverse patient community.

As part of the team at Family Dental San Marcos, Dr. Winfield is committed to providing gentle, attentive care and helping patients maintain healthy smiles for years to come.
